From the "vie de château" to the smallest city in the world

The Château de Modave, located on a rocky promontory overlooking the Hoyoux valley, offers an outstanding view across the surrounding natural landscape. Partially destroyed in the middle of the 17th century, it was restored and transformed into an elegant pleasure residence, the furniture of which comprises outstanding pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries.

Visit Durbuy, a city of international charm. The castle perched on a rocky promontory has a romantic look. At its feet, a small town of stones, preserved by time. Surrounded by a river (the Ourthe), hills and forests, the "smallest city in the world" seems immune to everything.
